Glowgow International
Shetland Sheepdogs

I was a great honour to be invited to judge Shetland Sheepdogs at the first Glogow International Ch. Show, I was particularly pleased with the entry and I thank the exhibitors, for accepting my descisions in such a sporting manner.

I Was impressed with the quality, grooming and presentation of the Shelties, together with competent handling of several exhibits.
In general I found movement on the whole very good, and in some instances excellent.

I thought the champion male class was very good all three were of top quality, and conformed to the standard in many ways.

Int.Ch. Beautiful Marvellous Man Askietila Int.Ch. Beautifull Marvellous Man Asketila

My C.A.C.I.B. winner, Beautiful Marvellous Man Asketila was a most striking dog, he had tremendous ring presence, with a most beautiful head eye & expression and superb ears which he used throughout, shown in glorious coat of deep rich mahogany colour so seldom seen in the U.K., he was beautifully presented and groomed to perfection, and was fully mature and well handled.

Ch. Quashee Operation Chaos Ch. Quashee Operation Chaos

The reserve C.A.C.I.B. Quashee Operation Chaos pushed the winner hard he had a lovely overall profile and was in complete balance, he was a bright orange sable, shown in excellent coat and condition, superb hindquarters and short well Angulated hocks. He showed himself well with a good outline with good neck & shoulder, nicely moulded head with superb both of these males were top quality.

You Are My Biggest Dream Ventora  You Are My Biggest Dream Ventora

In bitches I fell in love with the most glorious blue merle puppy You Are My Biggest Dream Ventora, I thought she was stunning in every way, she was the most glorious coloured blue, with the most lovely head eye & expression in complete balance, and has all the promise of a future star, I was delighted to see she won group 3.

In the youth and intermediate class bitches, size varied a great deal, I found several witch were too big and heavy, and others which were much too fine.

Ch. Baśniowa Silje Diabelskie Rozdroże  Ch. Baśniowa Silje Diabelskie Rozdroże

The Champion class had two most lovely exhibits my C.A.C.I.B. winner BASNIOWA SILJE Diabelskie Rozdroze the sable in full coat in her prime, with sweeping petticoats, excellent overall construction, with a sweet head eye & expression , and first class movement. Presented a beautiful overall picture.

Ch. Turmaja's Lovesome Rose  Ch. Turmaja’s Lovesome Rose

Res C.A.C.I.B. was the tricolour Turmaja’s Lovesome Rose, a very sweet tricolour, very feminine jet black shown in excellent coat and condition most typical sheltie.

Int.Ch. Prima Gloria z Kojca Coli  Int.Ch.Multi.Ch. Prima Gloria z Kojca Coli

The Veteran class. Was a pleasure to see, all three were excellent specimens of the breed and a credit to the breed, it was a hard decision to separate them B.O.B.
1.  was the 8 yr old sable PRIMA GLORIA  z Kojca Coli this bitch was in tip top condition, shown in full bloom  a very good example of the breed, lovely head eye & expression excellent movement.
2.  Roxa Asketila almost 11yrs beautiful sable with the most beautiful head eye and expression. Lovely size very youthful for her age.
3. was NICOLA NOKIA Asketila tricolour 12 and half, took my eye for her superb outline, superb reach of neck and topline, her movement was a joy to see, belied her years she had a stunning profile

I would have been pleased to own all these three veterans congratulations to their breeders for presenting them in such wonderful condition,

I have to mention the bicolour ( black & white) Caravan Glen Fairy wich are not often seen. I liked her overall profile  she had a superb outline, with excellent reach of neck and good shoulder placement, she had a great deal to offer, with a good eye & lovely ears, I found her just a little long in head and a little too big throughout, but she has many attributes to offer the breed some excellent puppies.
